Costa Rica Treatment Center works with hand selected professionals that comprise the most experienced multidisciplinary team in the country. Each team member is highly qualified by education, experience, and training.

Our clinically diverse team is comprised of licensed addiction therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and addiction counselors. Each member of the team demonstrates in-depth knowledge of addiction recovery and chemical dependency. Each member serves as an integral part of the overall treatment team.

Ana Rojas

Clinical Director – Code 2627

Ana Rojas, Clinical Director at Costa Rica Treatment Center Riverside, is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive comprehensive resources for holistic healing, addressing both physical and mental well-being. With a profound understanding of each patient’s history and life circumstances, she expertly coordinates with her team to facilitate effective rehabilitation and integration, guiding individuals toward their healthiest and most liberated selves. A licensed psychologist (code 2627), Ana specializes in EMDR therapy, focusing on trauma management, and brings her extensive expertise and compassionate approach to her pivotal role at the center.

Ariela Rubinstein

Master in Clinical Psychology

Ariela Rubinstein is a highly skilled Master in Clinical Psychology with extensive experience in managing adolescent and adult populations exhibiting at-risk behaviors. Over her career, she has developed a profound expertise in third-generation therapy techniques, utilizing a range of modalities to effectively address complex psychological issues. Her specialties include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, and rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), which targets the alteration of irrational beliefs. Ariela is also proficient in mindfulness techniques, which enhance emotional regulation and present-moment awareness, and brainspotting, a powerful method for processing trauma and emotional pain. Her comprehensive approach integrates these diverse therapies to provide personalized, effective treatment plans, empowering patients to achieve lasting positive change. Through her dedication and innovative methods, Ariela has made a significant impact, particularly in supporting individuals with high-risk behaviors.

Eva Lahmann Gonzalez

Addictions Counselor & Clinical Pyschologist

Eva is a National Certified Counselor in the United States where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from The University of Colorado at Boulder and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Mariana Charpentier

Psychologist & Family Therapist

Mariana Charpentier, a distinguished therapist at Costa Rica Treatment Center, graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and holds a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. She is also a certified Smart Recovery and EMDR therapist, bringing a wealth of expertise to her role. At CRTC, Mariana focuses on the systemic environment of the individual, considering the crucial impact of support networks, friendships, relationships, and family dynamics on the recovery process. Her holistic approach and dedication to understanding each client’s unique context make her an invaluable asset to the center, where she helps individuals navigate their journey to wellness with empathy and professional excellence.

Carolina Solano Vásquez

Psychologist & Addictions Counselor

Carolina Solano holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health with a specialization in Family and Couples Therapy. She is trained in ARC Trauma Treatment and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). With years of experience working with traumatized immigrant families, Carolina has provided in-home treatment, crisis intervention, and trauma processing. At CRTC Riverside, she teaches coping skills classes and supports patients throughout the day, assisting them in processing their emotions and learning alternative ways to manage them.

Dalit Ruth Gateño

Occupational Therapist

Dalit is an Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree in international development of vulnerable communities. Her evidence-based approach involves engaging the patient in their recovery process through a holistic, interdisciplinary, and collaborative effort. At CRTC, she applies her knowledge in art therapy, music, and theater to help patients discover or rediscover their interests, transforming them into a purposeful daily routine.

Paola Cravioto Pacheco

Clinical Director Psychologist

Master in Clinical Psychology with over 13 years of experience in addiction treatment, Paola is the clinical director at Costa Rica Treatment Center. Her passion and commitment to providing clients with the best possible experience are the benchmarks of our program. She ensures the program functions at the highest standard, oversees all clinical operations, and supervises all patient treatment plans.

Tony Feeney

Addiction Recovery Specialist

As a person in long-term recovery, Tony has been working to help people find recovery from addiction in some fashion for 15 + years either as a sponsor, mentor, or as a professional in clinical environments. At CRTC he works to formulate practical, action-based plans to transition our clients into healthier states of mental and emotional processing. Tony is a certified 12-step recovery coach and certified SMART recovery facilitator.

Glenda Mora

Social Worker

Glenda is a Social Worker with a degree in Psychology, who has worked with people from different backgrounds, with the approach focused on promoting holistic development and well-being, taking into account their unique circumstances and challenges, providing individual, group and family intervention from an interdisciplinary perspective to ensure comprehensive and effective care.

Carolina Solís Delgado

Social Worker

Holds a degree in social work from the Universidad Libre de Costa Rica, ULICORI, code 4024. With over 8 years of experience working with various vulnerable groups in Costa Rica and abroad, she has spent the last 5 years assisting families in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing communication skills, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationships. Currently at CRTC, she supports clients in finding hope and achieving lasting recovery through her patient-centered approach. Her role involves implementing evidence-based treatments and prioritizing the maintenance of recovery through emotional and spiritual well-being.

Patricia Muñoz

Nurse

Patricia holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and has specialized in various areas including pre-hospital care, emergency care, disaster relief, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, and recently completed a master’s degree in health management and administration. At CRTC, she plays a vital role in patient recovery, focusing on symptom identification, medication management, detox protocols, and overall patient care. Patricia is known for her problem-solving skills and ability to provide comprehensive healthcare to patients, making her an indispensable member of the team. Her dedication to patient well-being fosters a supportive and healing environment, leaving a significant impact in the lives of our patients.

Daniel Solorzano

Registered Nurse

Daniel is a dedicated and passionate professional in the field of nursing. At Costa Rica Treatment Center – Riverside he focuses on providing comprehensive and holistic care to our patients. His previous experience at CRTC San José, where he collaborated on several occasions, helped him develop a patient-centered approach focused on delivering warm and reliable care. As a member of the Costa Rica College of Nurses, Daniel is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in his daily practice. He is an integral part of the healthcare team, contributing significantly to the recovery process of our patients.

Vanessa graduated from Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno in Argentina. She has broad experience in Peruvian cuisine, her specialty is fish and seafood, and she is well versed in meats and pastas. She has worked internationally in restaurants in Argentina, Panamá, Perú, Colombia and Costa Rica.
