Cocaine takes more than it gives. We help you take your life back.

We understand

We know what cocaine does to a person. And to the people who love them.

Cocaine is one of the most psychologically powerful substances a person can become dependent on. The cycle is seductive and fast. Energy, confidence, clarity, and then the crash. And the need to use again to feel normal.

For many people cocaine use starts as recreational and becomes something else entirely before they realize what has happened. The progression can be rapid. The grip can be total. And the shame around it often runs very deep.

You are not here because you are weak. You are here because something got hold of you and you are ready to face it. That is not a small thing.

How we treat it

We treat the person. Not just the cocaine.

Cocaine addiction is almost never just about the drug; it is about what the cocaine was providing.

Energy when someone felt depleted. Confidence when anxiety ran underneath everything. Escape from pressure, expectation or pain that had nowhere else to go.

Knowing you

We get to know you first

At CRTC we start by understanding that. When you arrive our multidisciplinary team takes the time to see the full picture. Your history, your mental health, your relationships, your strengths and your obstacles. From that understanding we build a treatment plan specific to you. Not a program you fit into. A program that fits you.

Real support from day one

Cocaine does not require medical detox in the same way that alcohol or opioids do, but it does create powerful psychological withdrawal: depression, fatigue, intense cravings, that require real clinical support from the first day. We are equipped for all of it.

The toolkit

Every proven modality, in one place

Our therapeutic approach draws from CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Transactional Analysis, 12-Step facilitation, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, somatic work, mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, forest bathing, sound therapy, adventure therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation and integrative recovery.

Built from the inside

A team that knows this journey

CRTC began with our founder's own recovery, and with the gaps he found in the care he received.

Today the program is run by a multidisciplinary team: an addiction psychiatrist, physicians, clinical psychologists, counselors and holistic therapists, alongside an admissions team that answers every call. When you reach out you are not talking to a call center. You are talking to people who do this work every day and understand where you are right now.

Medical detox

The first step has to be safe

Cocaine withdrawal does not carry the same medical risks as alcohol or benzodiazepine withdrawal but it does bring significant psychological symptoms.

Severe depression, exhaustion, irritability, intense cravings and cognitive fog can make the first days very difficult without proper support.

At CRTC our medical and clinical team is present from the first hour. Your comfort is managed. Your safety is monitored. And you are never alone in those first difficult days.

This early phase is the foundation everything else is built on. Getting through it with proper support makes everything that follows more possible.

What recovery looks like here

Not just stopping. Building a life worth protecting.

The mountains of Atenas or the heart of San José. A different pace. Real distance from everything that has been pulling you back.

Days with shape and purpose. Therapy that truly knows you. A team that understands cocaine specifically and what it takes to break free from it. A community of people who understand without judgment. And moments of genuine joy that remind you what life without cocaine can feel like.

Recovery lived while you are still supported. So that when you leave, it is not theoretical. It is something you have already begun.

Their words. Their journey.

Is this right for you

Not sure if you are ready? That is okay.

Readiness looks different for everyone. Some people arrive certain. Others arrive with doubt still present. What matters is not that you have everything figured out before you call. What matters is that somewhere inside you, something is ready to try.

If you are wondering whether this is the right place, that conversation is exactly what we are here for.

Two centers. One philosophy.

Two environments. The same depth of care.
